Hilary Duff to Guest Star on Law and Order: SVU

Hilary Duff plans to get busy in the TV world. The starlet will guest star in a future episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit“, E! News reported as informed by an NBC representative. Her role and the episode are not disclosed though.

This would not be the only Duff’s role that has something to do with the law. She has been signed by NBC as well, to be the main character of a brand new pilot called “Barely Legal”. In the drama comedy, the 18-year-old will play a young lawyer who passed the notoriously difficult California bar exam and becomes the youngest attorney ever made in the state. No date for this series has been revealed too.

Apart from the guest stint at “SVU”, Duff has also filmed a one-time role for “Ghost Whisperer”. She plays Morgan Jefferies, “a beautiful woman of mystery” who may be involved in the death of a man who fell victim, literally, to a freak accident. The episode called “Thrilled to Death”, airs April 10.

On another “Law & Order: SVU” news, E! wrote that the star Mariska Hargitay will be back on duty this Monday and have her episode called “Selfish” aired on April 28. She recently took a break to recuperate from collapsed lung.

Desperate Housewives Season 5 Episode 19

It is still a question of how, surrounding the death of Edie Brit in the next episode of “Desperate Housewives“. The March 22 episode leaves little clue to why Edie was smiling in her death. ABC decides to make this a cliffhanger, returning the show only on April 19.

In the preview for the new episode called “Look Into Their Eyes and You See What They Know”, Susan whispers to Edie’s ears, “you’re gonna be just fine”. The women, Lynette, Mrs McClucksy, Bree, Susan and Gaby, then carry the urn on a road trip to find Edie’s long-lost son, Travers.

During the trip, the women have flashbacks on their time with Edie. They visit Travers at school to tell him what happened to Edie. Meanwhile, Bree’s marriage is troubled to the limits with her paying a visit to Orson.

In a scoop by EW, it is revealed that a new character will be added to figure out “Edie’s exit in a surprising way”. Gloria LeRoy will fill in the role which is introduced in the April episode.

Brothers & Sisters 3.21 Preview: Sarah Has Sex in the Office

The cloud is changing for the Walkers family in the next “Brothers & Sisters“. After a tough year involving the marriage trouble between Kitty and Robert, the scandal of Tommy within the company and the arrival of a lovechild, they will celebrate good things happening in their lives.

Based on the preview, Nora is dating a man who has left his wife and gets an “I love you” from him. Sarah meanwhile, goes to the wild side and has sex in the office. Rob and Kitty repair things in the marriage while Ryan kisses Rebecca.

Titled “S3X”, the April 19 episode witnesses good things coming out for the family. Sarah reclaims her Ojai office and meets Cal, a staffer in accounting who helps her unpack. When David, Holly, Rebecca and Ryan have dinner, David can’t help but notice Ryan’s behavior around his daughter.

Supernatural 4.17 Winchester Brothers Being Normal

The March 26 episode of “Supernatural” takes on an alternate life of Sam and Dean when they are not hunters. They are described as two different but very normal people who don’t know each other.

Dean is a corporate man who enjoys health drinks and listens to news radio vs. rock stations. He works at a company called Sandover Bridge & Iron Company alongside Sam who is in Tech Support. It seems as if the two do not know each other. However, after co-workers start committing suicide at an alarming rate, the two find themselves working side by side to solve the murders.

The episode is called “It’s a Terrible Life”. In its casting call, there will be a character named Mr. Adler, a corporate executive who is later revealed to be “a person with considerable supernatural authority, the kind of fella who can get things done.”

Smallville 8.17 Chloe Gets Her Wish Granted

The CW has given the HQ trailer of next week’s “Smallville“. Titled “All Out War“, the preview is highlighting on what happen in the episode “Hex” which is directed by Tom Welling himself and will air on March 26. It includes the origin of Clark’s existence and why he has to be up against Davis.

At Chloe’s birthday party, a mysterious magician named Zatanna (guest star Serinda Swan) grants Chloe’s wish to be more like Lois and switches the two into each other’s bodies. Zatanna searches for her father’s book of spells so she can conjure up his spirit but not before also granting Clark his deepest wish.

Cassidy Freeman who plays Tess told E!, “I think it’s really interesting what they’re doing with Chloe. You have this show that has been on for so long, and you have this character that’s not really in the mythos and has had to create her own self. You can do anything with her and that’s kind of what they’re doing.”
